Creating 3d flower embroidery design

It’s very interesting to work on 3D embroidery, although sometimes the result can be unpredictable, especially when you are just coming up with a design.

I want to share with you some photos of the process. Everybody loves them, right?

This is the moment when I have already sewn on the finished petals and embroidered the stems and some leaves.

I used a chain stitch, which looks very delicate, this was exactly what I needed.

I still had to finish the leaves, add beads, sequins and stamens.

This is an embroidery design that I planned to use as an embellishment of the bodice of the dress symmetrically on both sides.

It was important for me to keep a balance, to make the embroidery interesting and luxurious, but at the same time not to overdo it and not to make it too heavy.

I’m very pleased with the result that I got in the end. You can see the finished result here. By the way, you can also purchase a pdf file of the pattern there.
